My Inspiration
My passion for painting emerges from a profound love, respect and connection to our natural world. My paintings are an ever- changing expression of how I interpret the world around me. Having grown up in the Bahamas and living most of my life in Costa Rica and the Blue Ridge mountains, my paintings often depict dream-like scenes
representative of these distant but suprisingly connected worlds.
Earth, Fire, Water and Air are the elements of the natural world, that is what we are. Inseparable from the earth and each other. We are all a part of this dance, and in our core we are love.
Mediums
My work will continue to explore new materials that help manifest the visions I carry within. My goal is constantly to connect on canvas, paper or wood, materials that can communicate those visions. For now my paintings are on wood and canvas, with mediums of fibers, acrylic and or oil paints.
